Manufactured in 1856. "Louie Byron" is engraved on the butt; Byron has not been identified.

Fair as refinished with pitting, edge wear, and a number of scratches and dents. The front sight and multiple screws are replacements. Wood is fair as sanded, with some dents and scuffs. Mechanically fair.
