Description:

1) 19th century German hunting sword with leather scabbard and by-knife. Horn grips, gilt brass mounts, sheath marked "STROBLBERGER/MUNCHEN", blade with a partial nitre blue finish and gold inlaid floral motifs. Sword: 30 3/4" OAL, 25 1/2" blade. Knife: 8" OAL, 4" blade. 2) 18th century French hunting sword, leather scabbard. Ivory grip, engraved blade inscribed "De la fabrique de la Marque au Raisin, a' Sohlingen" and hunting scenes on both sides of the blade. 29 1/4" OAL, 23 1/2" blade. Provenance: The Norman R.
