Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with crisp rifling and minor streaking.
Description:

Manufactured in 1944, from the end of the third production block (serial number range 4,879,526 to 5,549,821) produced by the Inland Manufacturing Division of General Motors between January to August 1944, with this range running into Winchester's second production block range. "8-44" dated Inland barrel with importer mark on the underside, "C" type III barrel band, "N" marked front sight, "PI" type II adjustable peep rear sight, "PI" type IV operating rod, "FM-B" blued round-top bolt, and milled Inland trigger housing with "N" marked rotary safety, "M" type V magazine catch, and "I.I." type III hammer. Fitted with an "IO" marked two-rivet handguard and a M2 'pot-belly' profile stock with "IO" in the sling channel and "ordnance wheel" on the right of the butt. Includes a green web sling and metal oiler. Magazine is absent.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the finish with light edge wear, mild cycling wear, some dried grease, limited brown patina, and some light handling marks. The replacement stock is very fine with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
