Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright, counter-threaded at the muzzle, with some light buildup and crisp rifling
Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1943, from the "B" range of the first production block (serial numbers 1,798,000 to 1,875,039) manufactured by the Saginaw Steering Gear Division of General Motors, Grand Rapids, from July to September 1943, as shown in the table on page 605 of R. C. Larson's book "M1 Carbine Comprehensive Guide: 2nd Edition". Unmarked barrel. Includes a web sling and metal oiler. Magazine absent. Note: Due to state and local laws, this lot is not available for purchase or transfer to residents of Washington State.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished and subsequently partially returned to World War II configuration and modified, retaining mostly of the finish with some light edge wear, some scattered minor patches of spotting focused on the buttplate, and some minor handling wear. The stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled with some light compression marks and surface chipping on the handguard. The operating rod catch tab is absent, otherwise mechanically excellent.
