One of 1,621 manufactured from 1883-1885. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (the barrel length is not listed but is the standard length for a carbine) and shows it being shipped to Lyon & Johnson in St. Joseph, Missouri, on July 13th, 1885.

Relic grade, brown patina and pitting throughout. The wood has been refinished and has scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically functions.
