Description:

Manufactured in early 1944, from the beginning of the third production block (serial number range 4,879,526 to 5,549,821) produced by the Inland Manufacturing Division of General Motors between January to August 1944, with this range running into Winchester's second production block range. "12-43" dated Inland barrel with importer mark on the underside, unmarked type III barrel band, unmarked front sight, "I.R.CO." type III adjustable peep rear sight, "W" type IV operating rod, "W" parkerized round-top bolt, and a milled Inland trigger housing with "C/M" marked rotary safety, "E.I." type IV magazine catch, and "LT-Q" type III hammer. Fitted with an unmarked four-rivet walnut handguard, an unmarked M2 'low-wood' walnut stock, and a "K I" marked parkerized magazine. Includes a nylon sling and metal oiler. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 10 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where long gun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 10 rounds and is banned for purchase or transfer to residents of WA due to state and local laws. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the finish with some light cycling wear, minor spotting/brown patina, some minor pitting on the buttplate. Replacement front sling swivel. The stock is very good with a crack in front of the magazine well and light compression marks and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
