Produced without sights, with a Damascus twist barrel, Liege proof on the left side of the breech, serial number on the underside and scroll engraving on the frame. Hammer is lightly checkered, and the grip is fluted, with a leaf pattern near the frame and engraving on the metal buttplate. In a rosewood veneer case with "RP" initial plate, brass wire outlined top, red velvet lining and fitted compartments for the pistols, a combination bullet mold, barrel wrench and nipple wrench, a turned wood cap box with ivory inlay on the top and a turned wood powder container with screw cap.

Fine, with a strong Damascus pattern on the barrel and a smooth gray patina on the frame and hammer. Grip is excellent, with some light pressure dents. The case is fine with exception of a short crack on top, the keyhole escutcheon absent and a fine interior. Mechanically excellent.
