Description:

Brass blade front and groove rear sights, with "US./ JH/ P" on top of the breech and "B" on the left flat. The lock is fitted with a "B" marked brass flash pan, and marked "US./ R. JOHNSON/ MIDDn CONN/ 1842" between the hammer and frizzen spring. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a single barrel band/side plate, swivel ramrod, a pair of oval cartouches on the left side, a metal disc raise relief stamped "20" on the right side of the wrist and a one piece backstrap/grip cap.

Rating Definition:

Fine as cleaned, with mild spotting and handling marks overall. A darker gray patina is visible on the lock plate. Stock is very good, with some light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
