This massive flintlock shotgun features an unmarked barrel with a blade front sight and muzzle measuring just under 1 1/4" across. The lock is marked "J / PROBIN" ahead of the hammer. The iron parts appear to have been finished bright and the trigger guard, left side plate, buttplate and ram rod pipes are brass. Iron ram rod with button head and mounted with a smooth full straight grip stock.

Good. The iron surfaces have a mottled silver gray patina with overall minor pitting. The brass components have a natural, untouched dark aged patina. The stock is very good with scattered minor dings, dents and scratches. The action is very tight and functions fine.
