This Colt marked toolbox was possibly made for the Colt Gatling gun. Green painted wood with brass hardware except for the black painted replacement iron hinges. A section of the hardware is marked "Built by / Colt Pat. Fire Arms Mfg. Co. / Hartford Conn / U.S. / J.T.T." The inside of the lid is grooved for tools and the interior is divided into two sections by a large piece of wood with storage cavities for magazines.

Fine, with approximately 80% of the paint remaining with worn edges. The latch is missing and the hinges are missing some screws.
