Antique walnut construction, suitable for a 1st or 2nd Model Colt Dragoon revolver (NOTE: Will not fit a 3rd Model). Measuring 15 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 2 1/2", with magenta rose cotton velveteen lining and correct padded lid. Correctly partitioned, with spaces for a revolver, flask, bullet mould, percussion caps and cast bullets. Key included.

Very fine, with tight partitions and some stains and impressions on the lining. Yellow pine bottom shows no shrinkage or separation, with a short end on the lid coming loose and mild pressure dents and scratches on the exterior. Front lock escutcheon absent.
