Description:

Produced in 1907. Marble Number 6 blade front and Marble folding leaf rear sights on the barrel, with the standard two line address/patent markings, nickel steel mark and "30 W.C.F." behind the rear sight. Marked on the upper tang with the "TRADE MARK" three line model marking, with the saddle ring on the left side of the receiver. Smooth straight grip stock with "U.S." carved into the wrist and a curved buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 80% plus of the original blue finish with a smooth gray patina, concentrated along the high edges, and a small amount of pitting and handling marks. Traces of bright case colors are present on the hammer and lever, showing a bright silver overall. Wood is fine, with a number of pressure dents and a few small chips. Mechanically excellent.
