Description:

This is an excellent example of a rare and complete standard issue "SS Dienstmantel" Service Overcoat as used from 1933 through WWII. Heavy, double breasted black wool construction with two rows of six matte silver buttons down the front with two slanting pockets with flaps. The right shoulder has the "SS" silver shoulder cords, with the silver bullion "SS" tab on the right lapel and the Sturmfuhrer's rank tab on the left. The left sleeve has the regulation early "SS" Nazi armband that is made up of a heavy red wool background an a heavy woven black edges, with the white circular center background and black Swastika in the center.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with a small amount of moth damage and mild handling marks.
