Made in the standard peaked cap profile, constructed mainly from gray felt, with silver gray piping, a black velvet band, a Nazi eagle badge positioned over a deaths head, silver wire chinstrap, black visor, brown leather sweatband and cream colored silk lining with merchants marks on the inside. In the Nazi's "waffenfarbe" color coding scheme, silver gray was reserved for general officers and members of the personal staff of the Reichsfuhrer of the SS.

Very fine, with some light external wear. The inner lining shows minor staining.
