Description:

Formed in 1943 the Handschar Division was recruited almost exclusively from Bosniac and Croat Muslims, and tasked with anti-partisan operations in the region. The SS M43 Fez was standard headwear for the division, including the German officers and communications personnel. Red felt construction, with a black tassel on top, SS eagle and deaths head, silver thread on black backing, on the front, and a black leather sweatband with a faint makers stamp.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with some mild wear on the fabric. The fez has lost it's shape, due to folding and storage.
