NB - EXCELLENT- near new condition 95% - 98%, used but little, no noticeable marring of wood or metal, bluing near perfect (some wear at muzzle or sharp edges can be expected).

This is a copy of the British L1A1 rifle imported by the CAI company in Vermont. These rifles were produced by utilizing a set of original British L1A1 inch pattern parts that were assembled on to a new manufactured type three receiver. It has the British original folding rear sight and fixed front post. The top cover has been fitted with a Picaatinny rail scope mount, carrying handle. Right side of the action is marked "L1A1 Sporter / Cal .308 / CAI-St Alb Vt", made in Canada. The handguard is black plastic with a pebble grain pattern, composite thumbhole stock with rubber CAI buttpad. Complete with a black canvas sling, carrying case and five 20 round magazines.

Excellent, with 98% of the reparkerized finish remaining overall with minor light handling marks in a few places from light firing. The handguard and buttstock are excellent with light pressure and handling marks due to normal usage. The various magazines are very good and show light use.
