Manufactured from 1895 to 1909. The top of the barrel rib is marked with the two line address/patent dates flanked by Maltese crosses and the S&W logo is marked on the right rear of the frame. The matching serial number is marked on the butt, rear face of the cylinder, barrel latch and on the top strap. All blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger. Fitted with smooth two piece grips. Complete with an original hinged lid box with correct end label, directions label on the inside of the lid, a bore brush and small wooden handled screwdriver.

Factory reblued with 98% blue finish remaining. There is some muzzle wear and a broad drag line on the cylinder. There are a couple of small dings and a small amount of very minor pitting under the finish, and overall there are a few scattered minor dings and scratches. 80% of the case colors remain on the trigger and hammer. The grips are excellent with a few minor dings and scratches. The markings are readable. The action is excellent. The box is good with a couple minor tape repairs, some heavy corner wear, intact labels and staining on the interior.
