Border engraved casehardened action with automatic tang safety and single trigger with selector. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with factory hard rubber grip cap and bird dog logo buttplate. Length of pull is 13 1/4 inches.

Fine. The barrels retain 70% original thinning blue finish with areas of smooth plum patina with limited scattered pin point pitting and some minor spotting. The action retains 30% faded original case colors with the balance a smooth mottled gray patina. The break lever and forearm hardware retain almost all of the bright original case colors. The wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches. Overall the checkering is very crisp.
