Manufactured in 1904. Blade front, adjustable period replaced Marbles marked buckhorn rear sight and tang mounted short range peep sight. The top barrel flat is marked with the standard two line address/patent dates and "22 W.R.F." at the breech. Maker model designation on the upper tang and serial number on the lower tang. All blue finish and mounted with a 12 groove forearm and checkered pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap and steel crescent buttplate.

Fine. The rifle retains 50% original blue finish with scattered areas of brown patina and minor pitting. The wood very fine with exception of a couple of large scratches on the stock and overall minor dings, dents and scratches. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
