Fine. The rifle retains traces of original blue finish in the protected areas with the balance a smooth brown patina with some minor pitting (mostly on the trigger guard and floor plate). The receiver has been cleaned and has some minor pitting. The wood is fine with crisp, excellent original proofs, some minor dings and gouges, with a large dent near the bolt handle. Mechanically fine.
