Description:

Standard two line Loewe receiver wall marking with two proofs. The top of the barrel has a clear Battalion Universitario de la Capital Federal (University Battalion) marking. Approximately 200 rifles were manufactured for the University Battalion. Barrel, stock, receiver, and magazine floor plate are matching numbered to the gun. The stock is proofed. Complete with a leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The barrel has 90% blue with the balance a smooth plum patina with traces of original blue finish. The remaining metal surfaces retain 95% original blue finish with the marking on top of the receiver ring crest ground off. The wood is excellent with some minor dings, scratches, and pressure marks, with a couple minor gouges. Mechanically excellent.
