Description:

Standard Lawrence folding leaf rear sight graduated to 800 yards sights on a three groove barrel without visible markings. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the two-line Sharps 1848 patent date and the lock is stamped with the two line Sharps 1852 patent date and the two line Sharps 1859 patent date. The stock has the saddle ring bar with ring and a script "DFC" cartouche on the buttstock (left side).

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished. The barrel retains 90% thinning blue finish. The receiver, hammer, lever, barrel band and buttplate retain 80% of the case colors, otherwise faded to a gray. There is some minor pitting on the buttplate. The wood is excellent with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
