The slide is marked "PISTOLA AUT-BERETTA-6.35 BREV. 1919", with a Italian proof stamped behind the serrations. The left grip tang has 1930 dated Italian commercial proofs. Standard sheet metal vertically grooved factory grips. Matching serial number on slide and frame.

Excellent. The slide retains 95% of the dull purple hued blue finish with some light edge wear. The frame retains 99% plus blue finish with some mild scratches. The grips retain most of the blue finish. When magazine is out and slide is pulled back, barrel moves freely.

The left side of the slide is marked "PIETRO BERETTA-BRESCIA-CASA FONDATA NEL 1880 / CAL. 9M-BREVETTO 1915", with a "IF" in an oval marked on the right rear of the frame. Standard checkered grips. Matching serial number on frame and slide.

Excellent. The slide retains 95% original purple hued blue finish with some minor edge wear. The frame also retains 95% blue finish thinning to a brown patina (strongest on the grip straps). There is some scattered minor pitting overall. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
