This is an example of a Mauser standard model bolt action rifle that has been fitted with a Dialytan 4x scope. The scope bases are soldered to the top of the receiver rings. The scope is equipped with elevation and windage adjustment and is marked "DIALYTAN 4x 12251" on the left side. The front scope ring is numbered to the gun. The left side receiver wall is marked "MAUSER-WERKE A-G. OBERNDORF AN.", the left side of the front receiver ring is marked with a crown over "B", "G", "U" and "N" proofs and the serial number followed by a diamond, and the left rear of the barrel is marked with the matching serial number and diamond. The top of the bolt handle is marked "3792" over a crown over "B" and "U" proofmarks. Raised ramp front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters. All milled parts and mounted with a one piece pistol grip stock with matching handguard, flat buttplate and is marked with a circle cartouche with "Ch. (intertwined) A.". All visible numbers match.

Very fine as custom made. The rifle retains 60% original finish, thinning on the barrel. The trigger guard and floor plate have a smooth gray patina with streaks of original blue finish. The stock is good with scattered minor dents, dings and scratches. Most markings are highlighted in white and remain crisp and clear. The action is fine. The scope is very fine with some thinning finish and clear optics.
