Description:

Rebated barrel with a band of floral engraving, and the right side of the frame has a similar pattern around the edge, with "THE PROTECTOR PAT.MCH.6.83.AUG.29.93" in a circle inside the side plate. The left side plate is checkered around the border with "CHICAGO FIRE ARMS CO. CHICAGO, ILL" in a circle at the center, twists off to reveal the magazine which is numbered to match the side plate. The rear "grip" is fitted with a checkered hard rubber panel.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% of the original nickel finish with a few scattered minor dings. The pistol has a nice aged appearance. The side plates are excellent with a couple of minor scuffs and scratches. The engraving and markings remain sharp and clear. The action is excellent.
