Description:

Blade front and tangent rear sights, "1918" date on the chamber and "DWM" monogram on the toggle link. Three "crown/ letter" proofs are present on the right side of the barrel extension, with Imperial Eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Matching partial numbers are present on the rear sight components, latch, sear, safety, side plate, trigger, hold-open, toggle links, extractor, breechblock and firing pin. Stock lug has been removed with part of the base remaining. Proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" markings on the upper safety position and extractor respectively. Checkered walnut grips and nickel magazine with matching numbered wooden base. With cleaning rod.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as modified, with 90% of the original blue finish, with a brown patina forming on the filed off stock lug area, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. Grips are also very fine, with light pressure dents and a few small chips. Mechanically excellent.
