A) Beretta Model 1935 Army Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufacturer: Beretta Pietro
Model: 1935
Type: Pistol
Gauge: 7.65 mm auto
Barrel: 3 3/8 inch round
Finish: blue
Grip: plastic
Stock:
Item Views: 2996
Serial Number:
Catalog Page: 68
Class: Curio & Relic Handgun
Description:

This is an example of a 1941 dated Beretta Model 1935 pistol with Italian Army markings. The Army markings are usually Italian since the Army adopted the 9 mm Corto round in 1935. It was the Air Force that adopted the 7.65 mm round. The left side of the slide is marked "P. BERETTA-CAL. 7.65-BREVETTATA / GARDONE V.T. 1941 XX". The left grip tang has the Italian Army crown/RE marking, with "IVU" on the reverse. Matching serial number on slide and frame. Standard factory metal backed plastic grips.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The slide retains 95% original purple hued blue finish with some minor edge wear with limited pin point pitting. The frame retains 95% blue finish with a faint plum patina. The grip straps are thinning to a brown patina. The grips are excellent with the exception of a few mild handling marks. When magazine is out and the slide is pulled back, the barrel moves freely.

B) Beretta Model 1935 Blank Slide Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufacturer: Beretta Pietro
Model: 1935
Type: Pistol
Gauge: 7.65 mm auto
Barrel: 3 3/8 inch round
Finish: blue
Grip: plastic
Stock:
Item Views: 2996
Serial Number:
Catalog Page: 68
Class: Curio & Relic Handgun
Description:

Manufactured circa 1945 during German occupation of Italy. The slide legend is absent, with the serial number over "CAL. 7.65" marked on the right side of the frame and a "4 / UT" acceptance stamp on the left grip tang. Standard Beretta metal backed plastic grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The pistol retains 90% faded original late war blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the grip straps. There is a sliver of plastic absent from the left grip panel at the top, otherwise the grips are very fine with a few minor handling marks. When magazine is out and slide is pulled back, barrel moves freely.
