A nice example of a pre-war commercial production Walther Model PP pistol in 22 caliber, with the distinctive dished slide specifically designed for the 22 and 25 caliber pistols. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked with the Walther Banner followed by "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thur)/ Walthers Patent Cal.22" followed by "Mod PP", "crown/ N" proofs on the slide, chamber and muzzle. It has a matching partial number properly hand scratched inside the slide. Checkered Walther banner grips and one 22 cal. magazine. With a blue leatherette case with red velvet lining and a non-matching cardboard Walther PP box.

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing a few minor dings and scratches overall. Grips are excellent, with sharp checkering. Cardboard box is fair, with water damage, tape repairs and torn corners. Case is very good, with some mild wear. Mechanically excellent.
