This is a nice example of a Postwar Bolo Mauser Broomhandle. The top of the chamber is marked with the three line address, the left side of the chamber is marked with a "double crown over U" proof and the left side of the frame is marked with the serial number. The left rear of the frame is marked with the Mauser banner and the right rear is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER / OBERNDORF A NECKAR". The top of the bolt is marked with the partial serial number "5350" and a double crown over "U" proof, the back of the hammer is marked with the New Safety marking and "350" and the complete matching serial number is marked on the top of the backstrap and trigger housing. Blade front and 1000 meter tangent rear sights. Blue finish with niter blue safety, trigger and rear sight, and fitted with 22 groove walnut grips and lanyard ring on the butt.

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% of the slightly faded original finish with some muzzle and high edge wear and thinning on the backstrap with areas of smooth gray. Almost all of the original bright niter blue remains on the small parts. The grips are also excellent with a few minor dings and handling marks. Crisp and clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
