The 28 inch barrels have extra full chokes, ivory front bead sight, 2 3/4 inch chambers, auto ejectors. The rib is marked in gold "TELL REGENT". Two gold wire band inlays at the breech. The shortened 24 3/4 inch barrel is the same as this 28 inch set but with cylinder chokes. The scalloped box lock frame has full coverage floral/scroll engraving with two ducks on the left side, three partridges on the right. With a miller single selective trigger, tang safety, engraved trigger guard with two game birds, and marked "A.H. HEINEN, IMPORTER, CHICAGO." Checkered pistol grip stock with an engraved grip cap with initials "J.H." bare wood butt, beavertail style forearm that fits both barrels. The case is good.

Good with some heavy rust spotting on the 28 inch barrels. The 24 inch barrel set has been refinish at some time and shows 95% blue. The action has a coin finish grey appearance with crisp engraving & some dark spotting. This stock has a dull oil finish with light handling marks and heavy checkering wear. This forearm has a large chip at the right side tip and shows heavy checkering wear. In an aluminum case with cleaning rods and small pocket knife.
