Single bead sight on a matte solid rib marked "IMMAN MEFFERT, SUHL". The frame, hammers, lock plates, under lever hardware, trigger guard and buttplate feature a floral engraving, with the addition of games scenes on the lock plates and trigger guard. Ducks in a marsh scene on the left lock, stag in a woodland scene on the right lock, and a deer in a woodland scene on the trigger guard. Horn under lever, sling swivels, and double triggers (one is a set trigger). Checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a raised cheekpiece and a flat buttplate marked with the serial number (24140).

Refinished. The barrels retain over 95% thinning blue finish with some minor pitting. The remaining surfaces have a smooth gray patina with a clear engraving and traces of silvered out case colors on the action. The wood is fine with a partially repaired silver on the forearm (left side) and some minor dings and scratches (mostly on the buttstock) with some wear in the overall crisp checkering.
