NB - EXCELLENT- near new condition 95% - 98%, used but little, no noticeable marring of wood or metal, bluing near perfect (some wear at muzzle or sharp edges can be expected).

Discontinued in 1945 with fixed sights, barrel marked "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side and "38 S.&W. Special Ctg" on the right. The top has the standard two-line address and patent markings. The top strap is marked with the flaming bomb and "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D.". The trigger and hammer are both casehardened, large "S&W" factory trademark on the right side frame panel and fitted with smooth walnut military style grips. Complete with lanyard and swivel and a brown unmarked leather holster.

Excellent, with 98% of the original parkerized finish remaining with light pressure markings on the muzzle and light handling marks overall. The grips are very fine with light scratches on both panels and light pressure marks on the butt. The holster is excellent with minor pressure marks due to normal usage and tight stitching overall.
