This is an excellent example of a rare Colt Python in 38 Special caliber, made even rarer finished in nickel. This was a very limited production revolver and originally it was only offered in blue. The barrel is equipped with blue ramp front and adjustable notch rear sights on a matte finished vent rib, with the barrel marked "PYTHON TARGET /38 SPECIAL CTG" on left side and with Colt's one line address on the right side. Serrated trigger, checkered hammer and checkered walnut grips inlaid with gold Colt medallions on each side.

Excellent, with 99% plus original nickel finish with some mild scratches and a noticeable cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with a few minor handling marks on the bottom edges and sharp checkering.
