Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the standard maker's marks on the left side of the slide and a mix of "eagle/swastika" and "eagle/WaA103" on the assorted parts. Matching numbers on the barrel, slide and frame. Serrated ring hammer, smooth trigger, unslotted back strap and checkered hardwood grips.

Good, with 60% of the original blue finish, strongest on the slide, with patches of mixed gray patina, scattered spotting and handling marks, and high edge wear. Grips are very good, with some dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.

Fixed sights, standard markings; "P.38", "byf/ 43", and "eagle/ 135" proofs on the slide along with "Germany 1945" and "S.G.T. F P Williamson" engraved on the left and right of the slide also. Early "AC" marked frame, hand stamped 9.996with a Walther locking block and Mauser barrel, both unnumbered. Grips are ribbed red bakelite.

Fine as refinished and assembled, with 95% of the blue finish, showing edge wear and light handling marks on the slide and barrel, and a plum color on the frame, which has been renumbered. Grips are very good, with light handling marks. Mechanically very good.
