Barrel: 5 inch round
Finish: blue

Class: Curio & Relic Handgun
Description:

One of approximately 600-1000 produced in the 1930's, the Obregon was conceived as a replacement for the various Colt Government Model pistols then in use with the Mexican Army. The Obregon was not picked up, and the back stock was dumped on the commercial market, where harsh use has reduced known examples to only around 50. Externally similar to the Colt, this pistol uses an in-line rotating barrel, as opposed to a short recoil dropping action. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked "Sistema OBREGON / Calibre 11.43" and the right side of the frame marked "FABRICA NACOINAL DE ARMAS MEXICO", "No A 311" and "PAT. No. 35053". Equipped with a grip safety, serrated grip straps, magazine catch/ safety, and checkered hardwood grips.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refinished, with 70% of the dull blue finish, showing a gray patina on the slide, grip straps and grip safety, a small amount of pitting in the those areas, and mild handling marks and edge wear. Grips are fine replacements, with a small amount of chipping and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
