NB - EXCELLENT- near new condition 95% - 98%, used but little, no noticeable marring of wood or metal, bluing near perfect (some wear at muzzle or sharp edges can be expected).

Manufactured in 1968. The right side of the slide is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A." and the left side marked "COLT"/ "SUPER .38 / AUTOMATIC" flanked by the Rampant Colt. Jeweled barrel and fitted with two-piece brown checkered walnut grips. Has the polished blue finish on the flat surfaces and a matte blue finish on the rounded surfaces.

Excellent as customized (barrel has been jeweled, visible in chamber slot), with 98% of the original blue finish remaining with a small pressure mark on the left side of slide and light surface scratches on the top and rear of the slide. The hammer show signs of light spotting on both sides. The grips are excellent with light discoloration due to normal usage. Mechanically excellent.
