Manufactured in 1912. Standard fixed sights, two block, two line patent dates (1897 & 1902)/ address with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, serial number on the left side of the frame, and "AUTOMATIC COLT / CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" on the right side of the slide. The left side of the trigger guard bow is marked with the Colt "VP" triangle proof. "Crown/ V" proofs are present on the left rear of the slide and frame, and "V" and "GP" on the chamber. Checkered casehardened hammer, full blue magazine and checkered grips with Rampant Colt logos in the center and "COLT" banners at the tops.

Excellent, with 95% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish, with slight thinning on the grip straps, some bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. Grips are very fine, with a brown color starting to form on the right panel and mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
