Manufactured in 1915 and subsequently custom engraved and silver plated. The slide, frame sides, and grip safety feature a floral and punch dot engraving with an extensive geometric engraving on the rear of the slide and frame, trigger guard, and on the front grip strap. The engraving surrounds the two line Hartford address/patent date marking with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations on the left side of the slide and "COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE 25" on the right side. Fitted with Colt recessed medallion pearl grips. The bottom of the magazine is marked "CAL.25 / COLT". Complete with a Colt factory box numbered to a different gun, but with the correct end label and bore brush. This pistol is pictured in John Brunner's "THE COLT POCKET HAMMERLESS AUTOMATIC PISTOLS", (page 216, 1st edition).

Near mint as custom embellished. The pistol retains 99% of the silver plating with some scattered minor pitting on the frame. The grips are also near mint with some scattered minor scratches. The solid box is very fine with some scattered minor wear.
