A) Savage Model 1907 Semi-Automatic Pistol

OB - EXCELLENT- all original parts; over 80% original finish; sharp lettering, numerals and design on metal; unmarred wood.

Description:

Manufactured in 1916 with No. 3 contract "French" features, fixed sights, two line address/1905 patent date marking on top of the slide, "SAVAGE" marked on left side of frame, rounded hammer spur, casehardened smooth trigger, checkered hard rubber grips featuring the Savage Indian head trademark and lanyard ring.

Rating Definition:

Very fair, with 85% plus of the original blue finish remaining with minor wear on the muzzle and thinning to a grayish patina. Moderate edge wear along the frame and slide with scattered surface scratches and pressure markings on the slide. Light spotting on the trigger guard with a gray-brown patina forming on the trigger. The grips are excellent with sharp checkering and few light pressure marks along the edges.

Manufactured in 1919 with fixed sights, two line address/1905 patent date marking on top of the slide, external serrated hammer, casehardened smooth trigger and checkered hard rubber grips featuring the Savage Indian head trademark.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 97% of the original matte blue finish remaining with minor edge wear near the muzzle. Minor pitting on the left side of barrel and slide with minor edge wear and surface scratches on the left side of frame. The grips are excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1908 with fixed sights, two line address/1905 patent date marking followed by large "CAL. 32" on top of the slide, rounded hammer spur, casehardened smooth trigger and checkered blue finished metal grips featuring the Savage Indian head trademark. Complete with original Savage black box and manual.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish remaining with minor thinning near the muzzle and light spotting on both sides of barrel. Minor surface scratches on barrel and slide. Minor edge wear along grip straps with light spotting. The grips are excellent with 95% original blue finish with crisp checkering. The box is good with moderate edge wear, one side of lid has been partially removed and the top lid has been separated from box.
