Description:

1) Thirty-five inches long. Steel tip with silver finished brass band mounted on the varnished hardwood shaft, 4/5" thick at the bottom and one inch at the top, with a silver finished 1/4" wide engraved brass band with scroll patterns and lined background. Head is solid ivory in an "L" configuration, 3 3/4" long and an inch in diameter. 2) Measuring 34 3/4" in length, with a silver tip, round ebony shaft, a silver band with raised floral decoration and a 3 1/2" tall bone top, carved in the shape of a woman's head.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good. An aged patina is visible on the brass bands, with mild flaking and cracking of the varnish and some mild handling marks and scratches. Light age cracking is visible on the head, with multicolored streaks on the front and underside and a fine aged color on top. 2) In good condition, with some fading of the finish and good color in the bone.
