Description:

1) Umbrella, 37 inch total length, with a 4 inch end, black fabric canopy, and 8 inch straight handle, with 7 mother of pearl panels around the center and engraved gilt brass at the top and bottom, with the tip left plain for monogramming. 2) Walking stick, 35 1/4" hardwood shaft with plain tip, .73" thick at the head, which is raised floral engraved gold, 1.81" tall, 1 1/4" wide, with "HE/ to/ JE" inscribed on top. 3) Perfecto-brand umbrella, 38" total length, 3 3/4" end, black canopy, and 8 3/4" straight handle with engraved gilt brass at tip and bottom, a flat panel at the top for monogramming, and a set of 7 mother of pearl panels in the center.

Rating Definition:

1) Fair, with the fabric separated from some of the ribs, some rust on the steel components, and some exposed brass on the grip. 2) Excellent, with some mild handling marks and a small widened area of the seam on the head. 3) Very good, with some tearing and separation of the fabric, cracking of the pearl, and visible seams and aged brass on the handle.
