Manufactured in 1959, this Model 70 rifle features the highly desirable 338 Win. Magnum caliber and is equipped with a hooded ramp blade bead front and adjustable folding leaf rear sights with the receiver being drilled scope mounts. The barrel has the standard markings with the Winchester proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech and the left receiver wall is marked "WINCHESTER / --TRADE MARK--". Hinged floor plate, serrated trigger and mounted with a one piece checkered walnut stock with raised comb, solid Winchester recoil pad and sling swivels.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% of the original blue finish with a small area of smooth gray and some thinning on the underside, muzzle end of the barrel and overall a few light handling marks. The stock is also excellent with a few minor dings and scratches, and very crisp checkering. Crisp and clear markings. The action is excellent.
