Manufactured in Belgium, in 1969, this superposed shotgun features a wide matte vent rib with double ivory bead sights, choked full/ modified, chambered 2 3/4 inch with ejectors. The receiver, trigger guard, release lever and a 2 inch wedge on each side of the top barrel are nicely floral scroll engraved with a punch dot background. The right side of the receiver has three gold ducks in flight in a marsh scene and gold wire bordering, the left side has three pheasants in flight in a field scene with gold wire bordering and there is a gold quail on the bottom. The lower rear edges of each side of the receiver are signed "E. THEUNENS". Gold single selective trigger and tang safety/selector. The matching forearm and flat bottom pistol stock are extra fancy highly figured walnut, with a high gloss finish and fine line checkering with multi point and scalloped borders. The forearm latch assembly has simple engraving, the buttstock is fitted with a vented Browning recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches, drop at comb 1 3/8 inch and drop at heel 1 1/4 inch.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% plus original blue finish with a couple of light minor scratches ahead of the forearm and overall light handling marks. All of the gold inlay remains. The wood is also excellent with a few minor dings at the bottom front of the forearm, overall light handling marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
