Built from 1905 to 1942. 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked extra full and improved modified with an extractor. Single bead sight on a matte barrel rib. The casehardened box lock action features a floral engraving with "ANSLEY H. FOX" in a banner on both sides. The floral engraving extends to the forearm hardware with an engraved diamond pattern on the blue finished trigger guard. The water table has the three line patent dates marking. Double triggers and tang safety. Checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. Complete with mutton case.

Very fine. The barrels retain 85% thinning original blue finish with limited minor pitting near the muzzles. The action retains 40% original case colors with the balance a smooth silver gray patina. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches (mostly on the buttstock). The re-cut checkering is crisp. Case is fair with missing straps and overall minor scuffs and scratches. Mechanically fine.
