Built from 1905 to 1946. Chambers gauge at nearly 2 3/4 inch, choked extra full/improved modified with ejectors. Dual bead sights on a solid rib, with fluid steel and Fox address barrel markings. Broad floral engraved casehardened action with "ANSLEY H. FOX" in a banner on both sides. Double triggers and automatic tang safety. Checkered splinter forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches.

Very fine. The barrels retains 90% original blue finish with some thinning areas, and some scattered minor spotting. The action retains 20% original case colors with the balance a smooth gray patina. The trigger quard has a smooth mottled gray patina. The wood is excellent, with the exception of a small filler repair on the forearm, there are a few minor handling marks. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically fine.
