This is a very scarce post-64 Model 70 Winchester manufactured in the 225 Winchester caliber. These were only produced for a few years before being discontinued in favor of the 22-250. The rifle has a hooded ramp front sight and an adjustable notch rear sight, with scope blocks on the receiver. Standard markings with jeweled bolt, sling swivels, and a hinged floor plate. Pistol grip stock with multi-point checking on the foreman and grip area, Winchester grip cap, raised cheekpiece and a vented Winchester recoil pad.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% original blue finish with some minor thinning at the muzzle and bolt handle with some minor scratches on the trigger guard. The stock is also excellent with some very scattered minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp.
