Blued McGowen octagon barrel with solid rib, blade front sight with ivory bead front sight, three express leaf rear sight (two folding, one fixed) and marked "McGOWEN BARREL 7MM" on the left upper flat near the breech. Blued receiver with no markings, cut-out on the left receiver wall, and fitted with a coin finished and oak leaf engraved Redfield one piece scope mount. Jeweled bolt and extractor with oak leaf engraving on the bolt shroud and an insert on the bolt handle knob. Oak leaf and punch dot engraved coin finished trigger guard and floor plate with a gold inlaid bear on the guard and a stag on the floor plate. Nicely figured walnut pistol grip stock with fleur-de-lis checkering on the Schnable forearm and ornate black plastic grip cap, raised cheekpiece, sling swivel studs, and a Pachmayr pad.

Excellent as custom embellished, with 99% of the blue finish remaining with limited light spotting and a few minor scratches. There are a few repaired hairline cracks near the receiver tang, otherwise the stock is fine with a few scattered minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp.
