Limited production "75 year" Mauser Anniversary Navy Luger Pistol, which is complete with the leather luggage style carrying case with a Mauser marked multi-purpose folding knife with box and a copy of the book "Luger" by John Walter. These pistols were produced in the early 1980s based on the continuing interest and demand for original WWI style Lugers. The Interarms company contracted with the Mauser factory to produce a limited series of various Luger pistols one of them being this Navy Model. A total of 250 were produced with this specific pistol being No 138. The pistols are duplicates of the WWI German Navy model with unique GOLD fill highlights. The left side frame panel has been etched with the following raised GOLD highlights "75 Jahre / Parabellum-Pistole / Kaiserliche Marine" and the top of the toggle is also marked in gold "DWM" who was the original manufacturer of the navy models in WWI. The right side of the rear portion of the barrel extension and frame are marked "KM 138 von 250" and the front end of the barrel extension is marked with the "Interarms, Alexandria Va." logo. The top of the barrel is marked "(mm LUGER" followed by a "FBM" banner which is repeated on the left side of the barrel extension and frame rail. The front grip strap is marked "Mauser-Werke Oberndorf GMBH" and the rear of the frame is marked "Made in Germany". The pistol is finished in a deep, high polish Mauser black finish with straw colored small parts and checkered walnut grips. It is complete with the leather carrying case, with two Mauser marked blue magazines with black plastic bottom, takedown tool, manual, certificate of authenticity, test target, and brass cleaning rod.

Near new in the case. The knife is new in the box. The case is very fine with some stains and slight wear on the exterior.
