Description:

1) U.S. D.J. Millard (Clayville, NY) Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber, 34 3/4" double fuller blade with "U.S./ W.E.H/ 1862" on the right ricasso and maker's mark on the reverse, 2-branch guard, Phrygian helmet pommel, leather and wire grip and iron scabbard. 2) Henry Boker (Solingen) Model 1860 Light Cavaly Saber, maker's marks on right ricasso, "33" on guard, otherwise as #1.

Rating Definition:

1) Fine with some light dings and pitting on the blade, mixed red tinted patina on the brass, light wear on the leather and a mixed brown patina on the sheath. 2) Fair with some light wear on the blade and grip and an aged patina on the brass. The sheath has been broken and repaired, with pitting and a brown patina.
