Six round unfluted cylinder, smooth spur trigger, casehardened checkered hammer and smooth grips on a square butt. Approximately 77,000 were manufactured from 1861 to 1874. It is estimated that only around 10% of No. 2 armies were nickel plated.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as period, possibly retailer replated. The revolver retains 95% nickel finish overall exhibiting some overall minor handling marks. The hammer shows vibrant flashes of original case colors. The grips are very fine plus with an old coat of varnish showing very minor pressure marks. Mechanically excellent.
